I have been training with Mareike for just on four years.  During this time, she has seen me through two pregnancies and under her guidance I was able to maintain a comfortable level of fitness and strength.

Having two children in two years I found that I had gained weight so post pregnancy I sought a nutrition plan from Mareike to assist in weight loss. The plan was designed specifically for me and was practical and easy to follow.  There were no gimmicks, meal replacements or pre-packaged food.  Just real food in the right quantity at the right time.  I have found the plan to be very effective and it has helped me lose a total of 15kg.  Mareike has been a great support through the process and has always made herself available to answer my questions.  She has also made adjustments to the plan to assist my continued weight loss and ensure the program matches my changing needs.

Having a young family means I have very little time for myself.  If I did not have a trainer I doubt I would make the time to go for a walk or go to the gym.  Having planned sessions makes sure I train regularly.  Furthermore, my sessions with Mareike often represent the only ‘me’ time I have all week.  There’s great variety in the training we do and it is always enjoyable.  Mareike always manages to motivate me to work harder than I ever would by myself.

Now, through our regular training we have built up my fitness to run again.  It’s amazing to be able to step out the door and go for a run, feeling strong, fit and confident and most of all, to enjoy doing it. This achievement would not have been possible without Mareike.  She is a wonderful trainer, mentor and friend who has been instrumental in enabling me to achieve my weight loss and fitness goals.
